Which Countries Released Their Criminals into the US?

- The pardons and commutations included even the violent ones, the ones convicted of assaulting law enforcement officers.
- The proclamation comes with an instruction to the attorney general:
“I further direct the Attorney General to pursue dismissal with prejudice to the government of all pending indictments against individuals for their conduct related to the events at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.” So much for the independence of the DoJ. Previous administration’s DoJ was consistently under attack for being influenced by the then-sitting president for its prosecutorial decisions. I don’t know if a direct order from the president constitutes an “influence” or not!

- I have seen numerous claims that many countries are emptying their prisons and mental asylums into the United States, but haven’t seen any credible reference similar to the one I have provided for the first item above. If you know of any, please add a comment with the reference, and I will add them to the list.
